France! So close

I'm off to France next Tuesday, but I haven't had the time to really think about it because I've been frantically working trying to get ready for my 2 weeks away from work. Luckily, I have an amazing friend who is sending me info on what to do, suggestion for weekend getaways and booking hotels. She is so sweet. We are driving to Avignon and surrounding for one weekend, and Barcelona for the next weekend. I decided against going to Paris since I wanted to spend more time with Lena and her hubby. I guess it turned out for the best since I've been hearing about the strikes in Paris.
