I jolt awake this morning suddenly remembering that I might have books about to be overdue. Sure enough, I checked and there were a half dozen books which were due yesterday. Trying to avoid another fine, I dressed in a hurried and booted it to the library, hoping to return the books through the 24hour return chute before the library opens.
I make it in time. But as I was dropping in the books, a couple of the people waiting at the front door looks at me and ask "Are you open now?". After we clear up the mistake, I found out that apparently I look like a person in authority. Hmmm...I always loved books. Being a librarian wouldn't be so bad.
