My friend and I were out for an after work drink the other day. I don't know how but we came up with it but we agreed to a challenge to make the coming winter more interesting.
Other than water, coffee, and tea, any other drink we have should have alcohol in it. Of course provided we drink responsibly and it's our discretion as to how much alcohol. No I'm not a lush. I figure this will work in my advantage in two ways.
First, I will probably have a great time learning about wine, beer, various drinks.
Second, this will cut out all unnecessary drinks (hence unecessary calories). For example, today I had a craving for a burger. Usually, I'd get the combo with fries and soft drink. Because of this rule I had to skip the drink, which means I skipped the combo, which means I skipped the fries as well. Now if only I skipped the burger it would be great :)
