Though not overweight, I think I could stand to lose a few pounds. The combination of slowing metabolism and reduce exercise since I'm now sitting more than 8 hours a day after university has definitely contributed. Probably dinning and drinking out didn't help either. Have you noticed that in uni dinning out means ordering an entree, but now it usually includes appetizer and wine.
My one saving grace is that I walk 30 min to work everyday. But my office is moving next week and my 30 min walk will be replaced by 30 min drive. More sitting yay?
It's time to do something. I've located a gym on the way to work. I've resolved to try and go everyday before work. When I mentioned this to my friend at work (who also lives on the way to new office)she asked to join me. This will be good motivation. Hopefully we'll keep each other honest.
